Here’s a couple of lines from my song “Why Weren’t We Warned”:
“But the truth was kept hidden,
The lies in control.
The crisis kept building,
Why weren’t we told?”
The political class that is in control has already created an oil crisis. That’s already baked into the cake, so to speak. The batter has been mixed and is currently in the oven. There’s no way to remove the eggs and get them back. We’ve past that point.
The best case is that all military actions (it’s politically forbidden to call it war) stop right now (almost zero percent chance of that) and the world spends the next year rebuilding destroyed energy infrastructure.
As a realist who simply tries to have an accurate read on geopolitical events, I do not believe that the best case scenario will be the outcome.
The lies continue. The story controlled. Hollow promises issued daily. The truth is being kept hidden:
